Answer call in speakerphone mode

Is there a way to set the answer to default to speakerphone? would be handy to answer a call by pushing the green telephone button on the left and it goes right to the speakerphone.

thanks.

I'm interested in this aswell.
The incall volume is WAY too low for me.
I tried the nueaudio file and it just disabled my volume alltogether.
I also tried the audiopara and it made no difference.
Am I doing something wrong?

Either way I want to answer the phone in speaker mode also. :)

there are some pretty smart folks on this forum who know all about registry hacks so maybe one of them might come up with a solution!!

No one calls me enough for me to try this, but it might just work:

When answering the call, HOLD the send button instead of tapping it. It may take it straight to speaker...

If not, then you could tap send and then hold it for a second or two. That way it will for SURE be on speaker.

I agree, I am always amazed at the stuff that people here come up with.

that didn't work for me - holding it for several seconds simply answers in normal mode

But does it work if you tap to answer, then hold send to put it on speaker?

yes it does and that's what I've been doing but sometimes I hear the calling party syaing "hello, hello..." as I'm doing it - just thought it would be a handy tweak
