dead battery?
 

last night my phone went dead with a white and red led on.
when i put it on the charger i got a red led which changed to a white and orange led this morning. still not able to power it up. took it off the charger and the orange led changed back to red with the white still shinng. pluged it back in and no change.

do the sprint stores stock batteries for the mogul?

ok so after pulling the battery for a little bit i finally got a orange led that went right to green. ugh. so i powered up the phone and it shows a full battery.

this is great and all but i can't trust this battery now, right?

All I can think of is it is overheating.

White LEDs have been reported with high temperatures in the battery compartment. Maybe try charging with the phone upside down and battery cover removed for a bit.

well it did not overheat as far as i know. i did some light browsing and then put the phone to sleep for a couple hours. When I looked at it again it was dead. nothing was running when i shut it down... wifi switch was off and i don't use bluetooth.

the battery stayed cool all night while "charging" as well.

do u see how many battery threads there are on this site saying how they have problems with the battery?

this battery is GARBAGE! i have more problems with this phone and its battery
