XV6800 Verizon net work -- run GPS?
 

I'm 4 days old with my new XV6800 and like it quite a bit so far -- save for poor battery life!

Anyway --- is there a way to turn the GPS on? I would REALLY like to be able to use it on the phone on Verizon's network.

Yes it is possible, search around here for information on flashing a gps rom/radio.... Check the upgrades forum specifically... You will need the 2.40 olipro unlocker and the sprint radio and then one of the 3.xx series roms (I recommend the nuerom series of custom roms)...
