internet sharing buggy with vista
 

every time i connect my phone to a vista computer to surf the web it connects then lags out i dont know what the deal is its works fine then just lags out and says its still connected anyone else have this issue?](*,)

I have also seen buggy (at best) connectivity recently with my Mogul and my Vista Ultimate laptop. It's almost like a recent Windows update on my laptop is the culprit, but I cannot be certain if this is the case, or even which one is to blame.

But one would think that Windows Mobile and Windows Vista would work well together, since they are both Microsoft products...

Thats an interesting point. I had this problem too. Come to think of it,I think it did in fact work much better for the week I had to use my spare computer that has xp on it. I finally ended up buying a copy of PDAnet. That solved the problem,but untill I read this thread I never connected the problem with vista.

Try disabling your other internet connections (LAN port etc). I tried this on my brother's computer while I was visiting and his cable modem was out and it kept prioritizing the ethernet port in the routing table after a few secs/mins. Disabling his other connections and then rebooting fixed this problem.
