Streaming radio with asx link?
 

I searched and could not find an answer but I'm looking for a way to listen to a radio stream that is asx?

I've tried several players and can not get any to work.

Anyone have any ideas?

Here is what I'm trying to play.

TCPMP should be able to handle it as it's an mp3 stream I believe..you can also try this one:

Thanks for the reply.

I could not get TCPMP to play the .asx file but as I did more research I found that if I saved the .asx and opened it with notpad I could get the direct link to the stream. That ended up working great for me.

for ASX i use Windows Media player it works fine

There is a website that is tuned.mobi don't use "www" or ".com". If you have TCPMP you'll find hundreds of radio stations from all over the us and you should be able to play in your phone.

Try this to play in TCPMP player

open player>options>settings>select page>file associations>check off windows metafiles (ASX etc.)>hit ok

it should work after doing this.

I did that an when i try to play a ASX file it tells me. ERROR ....... Player: Audio Codec ( Windows Media Player ) Not Supported by the player!

I found that you can use TCMP with shoutcast. I works pretty well but the stations available seem to be limited as far as choice. You might have to dig a little to find one you like.
