These are registry edits:
Increase font cache
To increase the font cache, speeding up font rendering at the cost of a bit of memory:
HKLM\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE\limit = 16384 (DWORD decimal)
To change it back to the default:
HKLM\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE\limit = 8192 (DWORD decimal)
You can set the value to pretty much anything you like

Enable FileSystem cache
To enable the FileSystem cache, speeding up overall performance at the risk of the cache not being written on a sudden reset:
HKLM\System\StorageManager\FATFS\EnableCache = 1 (DWORD decimal)
To disable again:
HKLM\System\StorageManager\FATFS\EnableCache = 0 (DWORD decimal)

Note that by default, the cache size is zero, and you will see no effect. See "Increase FileSystem cache" to incease the cache size

Increase FileSystem cache
To increase the file system cache:
HKLM\System\StorageManager\FATFS\CacheSize = 4096 (DWORD decimal)
To return the file system cache to zero:
HKLM\System\StorageManager\FATFS\CacheSize = 0 (DWORD decimal)
You can set the value to pretty much anything you like

Increase FileSystem filter cache
To enable the file system filter cache, speeding up overall performance with file mangement:
HKLM\System\StorageManager\Filters\fsreplxfilt\Rep lStoreCacheSize = 4096 (DWORD decimal)
To return the file system filter cache to zero:
HKLM\System\StorageManager\Filters\fsreplxfilt\Rep lStoreCacheSize = 0 (DWORD decimal)
You can set the value to pretty much anything you like

Brad1279 - I followed your link and it took me to a file called "HTC" with no extension on it. Is there any reason why you would have a file with no extension? Should I rename "HTC" to "HTC.cab" ?

How can you check the clock speed? I have the performance CAB installed but even though I have the 500 Mhz ticked I can't tell the difference.

Yes thats all I did. Then once I installed it I soft reset and then found it in my settings - system. I set mine at 520 Mhz, we will see what it does. First impression MIGHT be a bit faster than normal.

That overclocking utility does not work with qualcomm chipsets. Pocket Hack Master was supposed to have an OCing utility for the mogul by March 08. It never happened.
Nothing available as of right now for overclocking the mogul. I've been looking fwd to the app for the longest time.

yes that is correct, i don't know why that host is doing that now, i uploaded them correctly, its just not naming them correctly, but yet it will work. also when i had clocked it to 520hz, i could see a huge difference, iam just too scared to use it, will it harm your phone at all?

Re: Speed up your mogul

Its been discussed. In general, it depends on the chip.
OC'ing requires a CPU-specific command, and since this cab was designed for Xscale chips, who knows what that command does to a Qualcomm, if anything?

Read that.

when i had to reflash DCD's yesterday i changed the pagepool to 8.99. i read somewhere that someone was using it to some good results. although i dont have as much RAM as i did on a 5.5 mb pagepool, (about 4-5 mb less) it is A LOT more responsive, and the orientation switches very fast. the quicker response pretty much offsets having less RAM.
