E-Mail Problem
 

My email is with roadrunner (brighthouse), phone is with sprint. I am able to receive email on the phone but not send. One guy at the sprint store told me to download and use opera mini instead of internet explorer. Another guy told me everyone with roadrunner has the same problem. Any suggestions?

A workaround you might try is to change your outgoing email server to smtp.sprintpcs.com. Then you will need to uncheck the box for "use the same user name and password for sending email". At that point, you will need to put in the username and password for your sprint pcs email account. You should be able to send at that point. Hope that helps.

My wife has our roadrunner account on her centro and has the same problem. I had the same problem setting up the same account through outlook on our pc.

Have you tried using sprint's outgoing server as described above?

I use Road Runner on my Mogul and am able to send messages. You will also need Sprint User Name and password for outgoing server login. Make sure save password box is checked. Helped a friend setup her RR e-mail on her Mogul and found out she had not setup an online account with Sprint. We called customer service to get her set-up. Once she setup her Sprint account and I entered the info. on her phone, she could then send messages via Road Runner. Works like a charm!
