Keyboard
 
First off i am pretty much a newb though i do understand how to download things as well as use the search function....

however...

i was wondering if anyone can help me out or explain or provide a file in which i can change the keyboard setup so that i can text without using my stylus or sliding the keyboard out, i got fat fingers people

Well, you should've exercised the search function. I did a simple search for "keyboard" and came up with a lot.

yea and it did no help since what comes up does not really explain to me why i cant figure it out, i need a direct file possibly and some basic instructions

I just gave you a link that had different keyboards. Everybody is a noob at some point but its not that hard

so i downloaded the touch HTC program keyboard ......this will work on a mogul ? because i downloaded it and then i tried to install it, it worked, and when i try to change the input, it shows the options, but does not save the option once close the setting feature ?? any ideas

Don't go to the settings, that doesn't change the keyboard. Click the arrow at the bottom of the screen next to the keyboard icon. Then click on HTC Touch Keyboard

You'll still probably want SIPChange, if not i'm pretty sure you will have to select this keyboard everytime you reset.

If you're a user of SKTools, it has the option of choosing a default sip also, and it allows you to remove some from the list if you don't use em. And you can always put em back at any time. SIPChange is good too, but Resco Keyboard PRO gives me the option itself to set it as the default at startup
