need help fixing messaging
 

I installed cody's threaded messaging but didnt't like it, and I uninstalled it. Now I can't get my text messaging to work at all. I can't find the messages anywhere. Has anyone had this problem before?

Did ya soft reset? I use codys and have never had that issue.

I don't think hard reset should be the first answer you give unless its the only way. If its possible to do it another way a hard reset is a lot of work they didn't have to do. Thats how sprint talks. "Dirt on your screen easy fix ,hard reset."

**Edit** I just removed codys from my PPC and restarted it after the uninstall was complete. Once it restarted my stock texts where back and everything was normal. You will however loose your text messages you had saved.
No I have to install it again.:)

Yea I have soft resetted, but it didn't change it back. I had to go into windows and delete the smsmessagingapp to even get cody's off my ppc. That was after I uninstalled it. I really don't want to do a hard reset if I can avoid it.

I don't see why a hard reset would have to be done. I just removed mine and all went well. I didn't have to go to the windows folder or anything. Just settings - system-remove ect....
Maybe try to install it again and remove it.
