wifi help?
 

hey all, im having the most annoying problem. i just got a verizon xv6800, but cannot detect wifi. it worked once, just once... and i have no idea why. i have the network configured correctly, but it just seems like the device doesnt see wifi. does anyone have any idea whats going on?

Under Settings/Connections/Wi-Fi/Networks to Access select All Available and see what happens.

EVDO button doesn't change to an antenna symbol?

im haveing the same problem it just wont connect to the net with the wifi

it changes to an antenna symbol, checked for a second, then basically acts as tho there is no network

What wifi router are you using? 802.11b/g? Is there any security key to enter on the device? Is the router broadcasting the SSID?

is there somthing that you have to do to be able to connect to one of the wifi connections cause its showing me 6 of them right know and i cant connect to them can some one help me out?????????????????????????

In the connections tab try conecting (left soft button) to any of the available networks.

thats what i did and it says connecting and it never connects its just says unavailable after that

Might be secure network. Any luck at a wifi hotspot like Starbucks?

i just started trying to connect today to the library down the street from my house cause sprint left me asked out didnt pay the bill lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!

same problem with me...i cant connect to any network...it gets stuck in connecting and then error "cannot connect". Im using leaked rom 3.49 5067 no2chem kitchen...

a) im using the phone after a hard reset, and refresh.
b) my router is 802.11g broadcasting in mixed b/g mode.
c) my network broadcasts ssid, but uses mac filtering typically (only permit my listed mac addresses, and ive added the mac for the phone). however i have also been testing it with filtering off.
d) there is no wep key.

i havent been able to test at any outside locations, but i know i should be able to detect 3 or 4 at my house other than my own, and am using my laptop on the same system right now.

so far still no luck. i dont get why it worked that once and auto-detected and hasnt since.

My mogul hasn't been able to detect any wifi networks since I flashed to 3.35.04 version. Wifi button is useless and connection always says off. Completely sucks! Any advice?

I am using vetvito's black pill wm 6.1 rom and my wireless works perfectly. I connect at home regularly, at my church, at my office, even at public spots (I like to use WiFiFoFum to see what idiots out there are running wide open wireless networks for me to play on).
