What does the today timeout check box do?

I found a thread that mentioned that it determined whether or not the today screen would come to the front when the mogul is awakened regardless of what app was active when it went to sleep.

I tested and saw no difference. The app that was active before hibernation was active when it awoke either way.



Just curious.
