Ghost in the machine?
I’m sure there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why this happened, but it was still unusual enough to warrant this post. I was listening to some music on my Mogul using TCPMP when I remembered there was a hack I wanted to apply so that it would allow me to listen to music but have the screen off. I found the hack (located here, if anyone’s interested), but before I had a chance to apply it, my phone started playing music all by itself, with the screen off. This happened right as I pulled the page up with the registry hack in it. My phone was a couple feet from me and not even connected to my computer. I was just listening to some music, turned the screen off and started looking for the hack when the phone decided it wanted to finish off the rest of “Discipline.” I wasn’t about to complain, I love the song, but it was just… unexpected.
Anyone else have a “haunted” Mogul? |

As for the OP, just be thankful that you phone is not levatating and chasing you around the house. I had to use a fishing net to get mine to stop chasing me. I have had this happen as well, but mine happened when I had TCPMP running and turned it off and it kept playing. I wonder if it is the program is not shutting down fast enough. |

It's possible that the program just showed as closed in your case, but due some fault kept running in the background. These phones can do some strange/undesired things when given a command; I'm just really thrown when it "chooses" to execute a command all on its own. |
