SDHC size
I have just purchased a htc 6800 with alltel and i was wondering what is the maximum size MicroSDHC card that will work with this particular phone. I have contacted Alltel Support and they say it is goes up to 4gb but he told me it may work with a higher capacity card. I have also read posts about the HTC touch with people claiming they have been able to use a 6gb and 8gb on the TOUCH. If higher than 4gb will work, what is the best place to get one. ive found this that is $40 w/shipping:

The 8gb is on the same page that you have linked for the 4gb. I believe you can actually use a 16gb. I've seen it used with no problems. Costs a pretty penny though.

theoretically it will go up to 32gb but there are no 32gb cards. on my mogul i had an 8gb in it.

ive actually just realized that the ones from digital media outlet arnt free shipping, unless for some reason their shipping policy is out of date. I just got that link from a post that said they were free shipping, so idk, maybe call them. but i did find an even cheaper 8gb microsd card that isn't sandisk, but seems by the comments that is is respectable for the reduced price. heres the link:

VX6800 w/ 8gb microsdhc
I am using an 8gb microSDHC card in my Verizon VX6800. I have read that 16Gb are supposed to be released in June. Although, I suspect that they will not be available for sometime after that as 12Gb are not readily available yet, and various articles indicate that they have been 'sampled' since Dec. 2007.

my 4 gb worked great out of the box, and still no problems. bought it off eBay a few months ago from some guy in San Francisco for $17 bucks, shipping included(:
