RUU "error 262" with vista
 

i am really pulling my hair out. I have seen several threads that touch on this topic. I have seen it mentioned that vista has a know issue. I have yet to find the thread regarding vista and the RUU "error 262."

can anyone point me to that thread? I would be so grateful! I have been searching and searching and still can't get the darn rom to update. torture!

Are you useing build os? If so I had to replace the RUU with a different one, and it finally worked for me... Vista is just a pain in the butt to get to work. You can also try to run in admin I noticed a lot of programs I try to use for makeing themes and dialers I have to do it that way because they wont work at all or not correctlly. Thats all I got man...
