Skype Problem
 

I have recently flashed my phone to the 5067 kitchen, and i installed skype 2.2.037 or something like that, and it wont open anymore for some reason, it says skype take a deep breath, and when I've just about turned blue, it says could not start skype. Is there any fix for this?

In reply to this, ever since I flashed the leaked 6.1 rom or any flash roms with 6.1, I haven't been able to use im+ either.

skype's known not to play nicely with wm6.1; try the prior versions from the following link - http://smarthacks.com/2007/06/26/wor...-trinity-p3600. I got 2.2.0.20 to work on my xv6900 with wm6.1 custom rom.

Skype 2.2.0.20 work fine on 6.1 roms. It's the newest roms (I first noticed with No2Chem's 5066 or the Sprint 3.49 on which it was based) that are the problem and it has nothing to do with 6.1. I don't know if it's the new drivers/radio? That said, I hope someone figures out what's going on with it because my phone's starting to feel outdated...

i just tried 2.2.0.20 and that dont work either :-\

I used "IM plus" it will work well,even if the other party was on ICQ or AOL ect..

imneveralOne - what rom are you using? I haven't had any problems with 2.2.0.20 on anything but the newest roms.

I use im+ but I can't get it to work? is it working for you with the 5067 flash?
