Phone won't answer or no audio on connect?
 

I never had this problem until the most recent Sprint Rom update. After a while during the day the phone simply won't receive calls or if I try to call out it says connected but do not hear a ring sound or audio. I have to soft reset to restore operation and then make a call.
Is this a common problem? Anyone else have this and found a solution? Is it likely that the rom update didn't completely "take" and I need to reload it or is it most likely a hardware issue that will require replacing the phone?

do you make alot of calls through out the day if you do then that maybe the problem. everytime you open the keypad it leaves the program running but the default task manager wont pick it up so far all i can come up with is that you do regular soft resets like after a few phone calls or something to that nature and see if it helps.

I use the phone for work but it doesn't seem to be related to the number of calls. Frequently I won't have but 2 or 3 calls during the day and it still occurs. I have set the task manager to close on "X" because I thought it might be running out of memory but no change. Very frustrating when it occurs on an outbound call because it disables the phone for several minutes to reset and whomever I attempted to call will sometimes try to call back during the process.
First and foremost the things needs to be a reliable phone!!!!!!!

well the x button task manager that comes witht he rom doesnt completely kill it i have never experienced this problem what radio and rom are you using.

I have the same problem. I also have the same ROM version and Radio Version. My wife has all the above and has the same problems too. So it would be nice to see what can be done to rectify this problem

Me too, same rom, same radio. It has been posted about before, but no fix as faran as I know...

Anybody tried a hard reset? Backup your data and contacts first.

Me too! At first I didn't give it much thought because I thought it was due to me turning on and off the BT radio. However sometimes even without messing with BT it still happens.

I'll be shifting to the Tilt or cruise any day now so I'll live with it.
