## Codes

Okay so I've searched and I am not sure if some of the older threads got archived or what but there used to be a thread for all the ## codes for Sprint.

I need to know the Master code...or whatever its called. Not the ##Data# and not the ##778# and also not the ##DEBUG# There is another one, which also has a RESET option...which fully resets the PPC and all data settings and everything.

I think Pibe posted that master code in that thread.

newbie here - how do you use these codes? do you enter them as if they were telephone nubmers and you're making a phone call?

thanks.

Yes, exactly! Just dial them like telephone numbers.

Such as ##DATA# that should immediately bring you to a View, Edit, or Cancel screen.

To edit anything, you need your MSL #.

Also note, if you are using a non-WM6 specific dialer, as many of them are, these codes will not work. In fact, the codes only work for a few dialpads besides stock.

that's why nothing happened when I dialed the numbers ...but ... I googled EPST and discovered \windows\epst.exe which brings up a program which seems to access the same thing?

of course I don't dare edit anything without some knowledge.

Are there some valuable tweaks to some of this stuff which is way beyond me but I'm not afraid to fiddle around?

Thanks.

Jack
