HTC and Missing Battery Icon

I promise, I did search for an answer, but had no luck (i.e. please have mercy). I just got my xv6800 and immediately installed the HTC Home Plugin and the customizer. However, the battery icon is missing. I cant find it no matter where I look. Please PLEASE, can someone help me find it? Thanks for the love, man :)

go in to the hhc setting it should be in there. give me a second and ill tell you where to go. also you should have htc home version 2.1 and hhc v 1.0

settings/today/items check the boxes you want on the today screen/ desktop

do you have HTC Home or HTChomeplug?

cause the HTC Home never had battery, right?

HTChomeplug is like 4 little icons

HTC HOME has the clock and the buttons under it (weather, catonact pics, programs, etc)

also the htc customizer is for the HTC HOME not the HTChomeplug that comes with your phone, right?

I have both HTC Home and HTCHome plugin in my Today/items list. No battery option in there though. As an aside, there is also no icon when I have it plugged into the wall charger. What gives? :)

Re: HTC and Missing Battery Icon

The battery icon in HTC home should be in the upper right side. However, that was with the 2.1 Hermes version. Whenever I installed the older versions, it was no where to be found..And I had to re add the HTC plugin(battery, flip screen, etc) for the battery icon.

Re: HTC and Missing Battery Icon

workaround... you can always goto settings/system/clock & alarms/more

check/enable "show the clock on the title bar in all programs"

then to check the battery level just tap the time at the top of the screen. it will show the time, date, and battery level in a pop-up window.

not as accurate as it only has increments of 25%
