Help! forgot password
 

I just reset my password to the PIN 1911. But when I type it in after the device is locked, 911- appears in the 4 boxes. Then it lets me type four more numbers, before telling me i'm wrong. Sometimes it will let me type 20 or so more numbers before telling me i'm wrong what is the deal? I'm locked out of my phone and need help. I must have mistyped the password or something. What can I do?

ya, thats a bad choice for a pin.. while the phone is locked it WILL allow you to still dial 911.. in the epst settings, it does actually see 1-911 as a variant of 911.. so you are typing in 1911, and it thinks you may want to be actually calling 911.

i'm afraid your only option is a hard reset.
