Tried the Search, still in a bind
I loaded the bootloader 2.4, updated the radio to 3.35 via the Sprint upgrade (and I think that's where i made the mistake)
My VZW 6800 goes to the 2nd splash screen (past the radio version screen) straight to a blank VZW splash and just sites there forever. Tried Soft, Hard and battery removal resets. Windows XP will not recognize it on the USB connection for me to try anything else. I could not find any help through the search function. any advice? thank you |
Re: Tried the Search, still in a bind
you may want to reflash via micro sd card.

Re: Tried the Search, still in a bind
unfortunately my SC card reader does not support SHDC, any options I can try tonight?

Re: Tried the Search, still in a bind
do you have it in bootloader mode or is it booted up.

Re: Tried the Search, still in a bind
that's where I'm confused...it's no longer on the tri-color screen , but every time I reset it it goes through the info screen to a plain verizon screen and stalls/sticks/freezes, nothing more.
Windows does not even acknowledge it as a usb device, just sits there with a bright white verizon screen until I reset it. |

Re: Tried the Search, still in a bind
okay, that worked, phone is back to bootloader reading 2.40.olipro.
When you say "reflash" now, via USB method or via micro SD card? it will not kick its self out of the bootloader and when I force it out with titan_extbl it goes back to sticking to the Verizon screen....forcing another manual bootloader entry |
Re: Tried the Search, still in a bind
go bak to the 2.4 olipro by doing whats stated above and reflash via usb

Put it into bootloader.....hold power + camera button at same time while doing this push soft reset. You will see the word "serial" plug it again now you`ll see "usb" run the room do not worry if your machine doesn`t acknowledge it as a usb device. THE ROOM. JUST THE ROOM |
