i use Nero Wav editor - you can open a full song, then trim it to your desired length, and save as .mp3.

If you are looking for one for the ppc...search for the newest verison of htc audio manager...save to your device instead of your storage card and you will be able to create ringtones directly on your phone...

HTC Audio manager always give me phone a bug so I tried to stay away from it. Can should give a link or a cab file for the program you recommend me to use? Thanks.
