Problem with Ringtone Manager app. HELP!!

i downloaded a ringtone manager app to my mogul from xda thats supposed to allow u to set any sound file as a ringtone or sms alart tone. After trying it i didnt like it, so i uninstalled it, went back and tried to set configure my sounds and notifications to go back to my original sms tone. DIDNT WORK.

I dont get a vibrate or a tone now. He attached a Uninstall file that supposed to fix the problem. he says:

Be aware that installing and running this program will turn off functionalities like standard SMS recieve notification and standard SMS alarm notification.
If you want to uninstall it, first remove the shortcut of MessageInterception from Startup folder and then run Uninstall.reg file to enable standard SMS recieve notification and set standard SMS alarm notification from Settings, Notifications And Sounds, then restart (soft reset) your device.
I'd really appreciate it if somebody can help on this. ill also attach the uninstall.zip file he attached

Did you uninstall through Settings/System/Remove Programs? Did you soft reset after uninstalling?

I uninstalled that way too, and did a soft reset.

Run MemMaid or SKTools...both will check for bad short cuts, registry errors, etc.

did the registry cleanup and im still having the same problem.

nah. didnt really think i had to. i've installed prolly over 50 apps and if i dont like it ill delete it. never had this problem.

Yea im going to agree Its looking like a Hard Reset for you. I installed a contacts application that would go away without doing a HR. Also does that "application" allow any file format?? Only reason im asking is because the mogul will let you use any sound you want for messages and ringtones, they just have to be in wav format
