Greetings. I've been told i have a problem regarding the time i spend tinkering/using my ppc-6800. Translation- the wife is p*ssed that im using it too much. Now, i may be able to get her to ease up if i can show her some stats, and prove that i'm no different than any other happy mogul owner that likes to learn and better him/herself :) So, if you could be so kind and participate and tell how many hours a day you spend using your ppc-6800, i'd really appreciate it. thank you. dschoenike

I use my phone about a hour a day and ticker (roms and progs) at least 2 hours at a time 3 days per week.

i tinker with my touch and my mogul alot. its bad the first thing i do when i get home is open my laptop and go to this site and all the while tinkering with my phones. i am working on getting the newest rom on my touch already have a great cooked one on my mogul. i am talking about the leaked ones. i also tinker with it at school if i have anytime. so weekdays possibly 5 hours and weekends you better be near me or you aint talkin to me because it is rarely booted up long enough to call anybody. i am always flashing roms.

I'm guilty of being a 5+ guy on my ppc everyday and one of my pc's are signed into the geeks always unless their off .
Sometimes I forget to eat.

agreed, I am on throughout the day at work. When I get home, I check to see what I missed. When i lay down to go to bed, I check the site on my Mogul. If I am not tinkering with the Mogul while checking the site, I am showing someone what else I can do on the Mogul or what I changed.

First thing I do when I get up in the is back-up my Mogul then log onto you geeks and check for any new programs ,roms etc.. I tinker with my phone all day long. the last thing I do before putting it away for the evening is hooking it up to my compurt and syncing it. put it on the charger and wake up and start all over again.

i spend in the phone 8 hrs.5 days inthe week the work i have iused for internet and sprint tv the phone is great 4 mogul i have to swap this have now take fridayy to the store beacuse lcd and keybaord die

An hour a day as a guess. Traffic in the morning (google maps + gps) for either 5 minutes or 30, depending on if I need to dodge a jam - email for 5-10 minutes 2-4 times a day. Some browsing now and then as needed. Check weather now and then...

I use an ipod touch for media watching/audio mostly... sometimes the touch will get used to watch some video live or recorded (orb streaming) but on an average day, it's probably 60 minutes or so.

I'm probably in the 2-3 hour range, however, I will say that I spend more time trying to improve my phone than I do enjoying my phone.

Im with ya on that. But for me, since i'm fairly new to the ppc club (1 1/2 yrs), trying to improve my phone is my enjoyment. Keeps me outta trouble :)

I am in the 5+ range, once you figure in streaming radio and watching TV on it at work along with text, calls, and emails.

I use mine as my work phone so it has to be 4 hours (have to do actual work the other 4 hours).

This may sound hilarious but realistically I spend about 30 minutes a day of "real work" per day.

Now if you include "tweaks" because of PPCGeeks... maybe 2 hours a day.

If you include time spent in these forums... maybe 3 hours.

I spend about 2 to 3 hours a day and 3 to 4 times a week. With so many roms and updates happening each day. You can't but keep tinkering with your device! :mrgreen:

id say i use my mogul 6-8 hrs a day 7 days a week. Sometimes more if a new ROM or build came out or if i get bored. Being a sprint rep, im always showing my ppc to customers especially to the ones that ask "is it better than the iphone?"

+5 a day easily. This is why my battery can't even make through a single day without charging. :confused1:

For work about an hour but other stuff 2 or more hours a day. Internet, sling box, tweeking the phone, etc.

It's got to be 3 hours a day for me at least.

I spend a lot of my day in meetings, so I'm always on it checking email, looking at upcoming meeting information, and using it to hit the web for stuff I may need in meetings.

I day without my Mogul is a day without sunshine. :headbang:

i drive truck, and this thing is mounted to my dash playing mp3s and running the gps.

Depends, i hook my 6800 to my car to play back mp3s, i opera mini a whole lot, tether around 30 minutes everyday, and oh yeah, i talk for about 30 to an hour a day

But i will say on average, at least 2 hours, no less... i just got into using my mogul to draw pictures, and may i say, this is soooo awesome! I cannot wait to use the raphaels double the pixel display to paint!

I use mine exclusively as my main computer now. I stream XM, Sprint TV, an incredible amount of E-mail and Texts, phone calls, Internet surfing, google maps and live search. I can't remember when I just played a video game on this thing, however. I'm too busy.

I also check PPCGeeks every chance I get, because I love this community. :-)
