Hey All,

I recently upgraded my Telus P4000 (Titan) to the latest 3.49.NO2 (GREAT job btw...) And as before with the stock ROM, sending or receiving around 40-50 text messages will crash the phone HARD and leak the memory like the toilet on the space station.

I found this very interesting, as it is a problem that crosses from the ancient Telus stock firmware into this WM6.1 firmware. Anyone else experience this?

My memory is fine till I start receiving and sending text messages then it plunges and never recovers.

That happens to me as well. Have you tried Oxios? For simple/common memory losses like that, it helped me a lot. I just wish I could retain 22MB by the end of the day after running everything and its brother on my phone. *sigh...* Oxios can't even do that, though.

Re: Known Sources of Memory Leaks

i was actually wondering the same thing. after several roms and continued flashing, i ended up only installing a few key programs, and was STILL getting memory leaks. however, with the last stock rom, and NOT installing any programs, and not editing the registry (read: having the same uber boring phone as every other clownhat that just doesn't know how to do it), i maintained almost 50% free memory for days on end. everything i closed, closed. now, i just put on the new 'released but not released' rom, and we'll see how that goes, but i just don't know...

led killer 3.1 <--does this leak? because it's damn near a must apply.
palm threaded sms <-- does this leak? well, i guess i don't care now that 6.1 threads

ummm, i can't think of anything else right now, as like i said, i've trimmed my fidgeting for a little while (probably until i get some duty that i'm supposed to do will i find some need to distract myself with the phone, lol)
