I can't believe this question even got posted... if it was really that easy to free up more RAM, people wouldn't be ready to throw their phones out of the window in droves...

I didn't put anyone down. I could have just as easily said that the OP was an idiot and really put him down.

It just gets a little old reading stupid questions all day. You would think that people would realize by now if there's a registry hack involved, it would have been found already. That's all I was saying. I wasn't trying to be a jerk about it, its just frustrating because every day there are a ton of stupid posts made on here. I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets tired of it.

Since the topic has been brought up, has anyone ever considered writing a utility to use storage space as memory (a la "pagefile" concept)?

been talked about, alot. As far as I recall, no one has written such a program yet. Search might yield the discussions.
