Digital Roaming instead of Carrier's Name
 

Hi, I'm currently using P4000 with Telus here in BC, Canada. Wheneven I go to USA, it'd show 'Digital Roaming' instead of the carrier's name or logo the one i'm connected with. Is there any registry tweak that i can make or any code to dial from my device to get the carrier info instead of just saying 'Digital Roaming'?? And just so u know, it shows 'Telus' when I'm under Telus's network...!! Thanks in advance!

That sounds like something that would be really neat to have Othough I don't think i'll need it seeing its only sprint and verizon here, it would be cool.

the provider is shown only with gsm phones. not sure if yours is or not. probably is, since your in Canada. so I'm not sure why it wouldn't here in the states.

For sprint, You either have Sprint PCS, Digital Roaming, or INTERNATIONAL.

It seems like it would be easy for the phone to display a carriers name via a SAD, but no.

My phone is CDMA, not GSM matty032...
