Voice and Data at the same time
 

I use to have the PPC-6700(Apache) and recently switched to the PPC-6800(Titan).

Previously I was able to use voice and data at the same time. One thing I have noticed is when there is a phone call the signal drops to 1X.

I do remember there was a registry hack that allows voice and data on at the same time.

CDMA does not allow for simultaneous voice and data. Hence EVDO meaning CDMA EVolution Data Only.

EVDV was supposed to allow both but it was dropped.

Even on Rev A, it is not possible to have data and voice at the same time. You must have been using wifi.

I've been looking for this thread and i cant find it either... i distinctly remember that you could make voice phone calls while on the EVDO internet (not wifi) with a reg edit key on the apache 6700... So is it possible on the mogul or touch pro?
