my power button broke and i had to take it to the sprint store to get it fixed. After they fixed it none of my contacts would pull up or my calendar. And before i took it to sprint i remember not being able to upload my pictures from my phone to my pc. They said it is because i had the HTC customizer and P(something)registry and AIM 2.0 which are all 3rd party applications and that is what caused my phone to act up. But now i wanted to synce my contacts with my phone and none of my info is in the folder anymore! what should i do now? Moreso,is there a newer version of AIM for the Titan?

I'm not completely sure what you're saying.

Sounds like sprint re-flashed your phone, or possibly gave you a refurb?

The "Third Party Software" excuse honestly sounds like BS, and i think you're refering to PHMRegedit. The HTC Customizer i'm not real familiar with, but i know the other 2 would have nothing to do with your contacts, unless you somehow jacked the registry to the point where stuff started vanishing.. haha, which is highly unlikely.

You did have your contacts backed up though, yes?

Third party applications have been known to cause problems, but the ones you had are not among the programs that tend to cause issues.

Your contacts are gone because the Sprint store probably hard reset your phone to correct any software errors after the repair. You'll have to resync your phone with your PC to get your backed up contacts, if you synced it before you took it to the store. If you didn't, they're gone unfortunately.

Maybe take your old phone and the mogul and have the Sprint Store re-load them? Might have to smile and say PULLLEEASSEE!:)

I know it's not exactly what you are looking for. BUT... Palringo has AIM, Yahoo, MSN, Gmail all built into it. (That is if you can't find AIM)

i tried palringo and it didnt work... i had a cab but everything on my laptop and phones has been erased. i tried searching here again and i cannot find it :( but thanks

I use PIM Backup and keep a copy of the back up file on my PC. and my SD card.
So if something happens to one I'm still cool and loose nothing.

When u had palringo did you set up an account first? That has to be done prior to loading your other IM services.
