problem with sprint startup service
 

hi all,

i have a problem with my mogul. when i seem to restart my phone, it takes almost a good minute to re-establish service again? the top shows its searching for service and data connection, normally it is right away. but i noticed this happend after the rom changing to nochems?? i have the wm6.1 5065. my service is sprint..... i dont know if anyone else is having this same problem? before i flashed my phone to nochems rom and whenever i restarted the phone the service would come on right away.

any help would be appreciated. thanks guys.

If avaliable try

Settings > phone > network settings > get settings

It should refresh and re-establish your
connections to the sprint network.

I said if avaliable because some roms dont give
you this option. like the alltel
rom.

nope, no luck with that option...thanks though.

i tried restarting it again and same problem still, it takes about a minute to establish service after i reset the phone.....:(

I had this problem until I updated to the 3.37 radio.

hmm...im running on nochems 5065 rom wm6.1.... i dont know if i should upgrade because it might mess something up?

You could try a ROM and/or Radio re-flash. I personally didn't have issues after the radio upgrade, but many that I know did have issues.

The same thing happened to me. Just wait a few days, I found that after a week or so my phone was locking on immediately again.

Same with me, after upgrading the the new official Sprint ROM it would take up to five minutes for the signal to lock in, but after a few days the phone will connect instantly. Strange huh?
