P4000 on Telus Network network issue
Hi here, I have been playing with all types of roms and experiments. From the beginning I did not back up my a-key, m. ip info, all the info for Telus. I am using a program called EPST to get my password, I enter my ESN from the back of the phone and also from the wm6 menu. I get no lock. It keeps on saying the password is wrong. Currently when I press the phone button the top left screen says International. I am located in Vancouver, BC, Canada. any idea's on how to put back the telus info.
Thanks |

Did you try reflashing the stock telus ROM?

Re: P4000 on Telus Network network issue
Are you using the hex ESN? it will be numbers and letters the one from the back of the phone will not work, you can get your hex esn by dialing ##778<SEND> or if that doesn't work ##778#, if that doesnt work, browse to windows folder and launch the epst program. Then go to view as this does not require a password, the third line should be ESN(Hex) and has your ESN number in hexadecimal input that as the ESN in your program and it should spit out the proper code. But like the previous poster said flashing back to stock should work too, I only posted because the unlock code can be hand to fix issues without flashing or tweak a few settings.
There is anoter option as well, if you dial *22803 option 1 it will perfor the ota activation, this should reprogram your phone for the Telus network. |

There are several options to restore your phone...I was rather vague, but it would be the first step I'd take. gimme a shout back if you need to...

Re: P4000 on Telus Network network issue
What about jjlwork's suggestion of dialing *22803 option 1?
Did you relock your phone before trying the Telus ROM? Check this (Assuming you used Hard SPL): http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=12041 - particularly post 20. I also found this post very helpful: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20877 I would try jjlwork's options first then, attempt to get your phone back to stock, or keep your phone unlocked and try to flash a custom ROM for Telus. |
