This looked interesting until I noticed that there was no mention of tabbed browsing. Lack of tabs is why I use opera instead of explorer. I guess the people who write the software at Microsoft don't actually use it in the real world otherwise they would notice such an obvious defect.

On the bigger picture, this looks pretty cool that Sprint has agreed to update the mogul's OS.

Yes I have seen it. Supposedly we are getting the update to the OS in July courtesy of Sprint.

i used the IE from 6.1 its horrible i personally do not like it it is very slow and the text can b minimized with out distorting the pages way it loads very bad =[

I don't like WM 6.1's text messaging. I'd rather have proper video and gps drivers myself.

I will see how WM6.1 behaves in a stock rom when released. Let's remember that those running WM6.1 now are doing it on a cooked rom. Also that if there is something we don't like, a hack can be developed to customize.:)

So they say july... so ill be expecting this upgrade around march 09( they told me wen i bought my mogul in july that the evdo rev a and gps upgrade will be out in a month or two, didnt get that till march). Who knows they might actually try to get something out on time. But besides that WinMo 6.1 doesent do too much for me i use netfront and already have codyppcs threaded text so is the upgrade even worth it?
