Help HTC Mogul 3.35 ROM Upgrade- Cannot Unlock
 

Okay, I'm new to this whole thing. I have an HTC Mogul that was unlocked for cricket and worked fine. I upgraded to the 3.35 ROM official version found on HTC website and now my phone will not unlock. I tried restoring all settings from previously saved version in Active Sync, that didn't work. I tried unlocking like previously: typing ##78#, edit, then entering 000000 as unlock code, but it will not accept the code! I need help!!

Im not sure, but when the phone turns on, did you get the sprint logo show up or verizon logo to show. the unlock code your using is for verizon, sprint uses a different unlock code specific to your ESN ID located inside when you remove your battery. There's a utility somewhere to find the Unlock Code. I'll try to find it in one of these posts for you. You might also want to try and use the original ROM to reflash. if possible.

Im also a new user to this and these to threads helped me took me a couple hours of reading and re-reading to get it but i got it just right so if you read these two threads you will be up and going in no time

Might be this will be the same problem with me also... I could not upload the new PRL cause the i didn.t know the unclock code...

when EPST menu appear, i can only see, but couldn'edit. the unlock code required.. anyone can help

Use GetSPC for the unlock code. Use QPST to set the unlock code and change the number of times so it cant be locked again. Make sure you set it at all 000000. Save to file so you can have a backup if anything happens and write to phone. Dial ##778 or whatever and Check if the unlock code is set at 000000. If so the you did it correctly. Anyways whats wrong with just updating the PRL OTA (over the air) anyways. just dial *228 or *22899 and select option 2.

Just upgraded the rom on my titan to nuekernel 3.1 w/windows mobile 6.5. I tried the ##778# and I can no longer get to where I need to put the unlock code in. Don't know where to go from here.
