Hi, guys!!! I've just installed new rom with GPS, but don't know which applicatin 2 use 4 GPS. Got any variants??? :dontknow::dontknow:

Live search is free and it does gps stuff.
i'm having mixed results with mapquest (tilt version for gps love). it works, but i'm having sound issues now.
it's the cheapest one out there afaik.

I think Garmin Mobile XT has em all beat. The only thing it needs its TTS

I'm partial to iGuidance, TTS, accurate maps, very easy to navigate the application features/menus.

I like Nav4All (www.nav4all.com), free, somewhat steep learning curve (as poor documentation), turn by turn audible directions, voted best out of all the biggies (tom-tom, garmin, etc.) by the government of the Netherlands as it routes you around population dense areas that they term to be "kid killer" routes, but is not a graphic mapping program. Many don't like it but the price is right!

My vote is for iGo. iGo is easy to use, and only requires 2 directories on your SD card. Also, the maps for the US are separated rather than all in one file...if you are running out of room on the card, just pull out any states (or countries) you do not need to use.

iGuidance does TTS with street names. That wins for me.

Google maps will work and is free. I don't think it has turn by turn voice directions. Might want to check out a few more options before settling with Gmaps.
