Ok guys, sorry I've been on a bit of hiatus due to a new baby and other things... But work is back in progress! And I now am able to receive and display several text messages with no problem and have added paging to allow for unlimited text messages... Again for now this is SPRINT only!

I look to release a very basic ALPHA version next week that will download the pics and save them to a configurable folder (ie storage card)... it will still be very basic.. but its better than what you guys are... or arent.. using right now... It will include a termination date that I should have a new release by..

But it will be good for those of you who want to at least be able to receive picture mail.. I will try my hardest to have this release next week (probably between monday and wednesday)

I am looking to you all for bug reporting and any design ideas that you would like to pass to me...

Mine only supports receiving MMS at the moment.. something that is unsupported on sprint PPC phones up until this point.. for sending you are going to have to use sMMS .. at least for now thats going to be my focus.. then i'll add more.. eventually I will turn it into a full on threaded sms/mms service... next step after this alpha is released is animated GIF support, video support and audio support.

I guess you haven't been reading. You can send MMS with sMMS. He's working on receiving picture mail first

I'm going to try not to hijack seigex's thread, but yes you can use sMMS to send Picture mail. The receiving module has been in testing for about 3 weeks, currently only tester / donators have access.

Be patient, it will come. This stuff is not easy, especially with a new born. Trying to work on this while being kept up all night and having a fulltime job, is tough. Believe me I know and my daughter is 7, 10x as bad with a new born.

Someguy has done an excellent job with sMMS.. The program sends and recieves picture mail. If I had a hat on I would be tipping it to him. He has put together an excellent program. All users should donate to show their appreciation..... I did.

I'm sure what you're workin' on will be a breakthrough in the MMS for Titan/Touch users. I still can't figure out why Sprint would do such a things as disable pMail. But I guess it's just another chokehold on us, the consumer. Keep up the good work. Lookin' forward to seein' the finished product.

And yeah, I vote too on straight MMS.

Seems like this project is dead... he did say a few weeks ago we would see something, not even a reply though. And no I'm not rushing him ppl, I'm just saying... :(
