You may check the settings @
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSCONTACS\1 and make sure that they don't point to finger friendly contacs

YUP...it is still looking for finger friendly, so what would I have to change it too, in order to get the original contact manager????

Yes it does. Open Advance Config. Menu > Key Mapping.

Thank you letting him know about the key mapping setting. It took me a little while to figure out the full capabilities of Advanced Config Tool and I just always assumed that I was having a brainfart.

Guess I should have realized that maybe I am not the only one brainfarting and been more descriptive in my original post :)

Re: Contacts not working

just change this reg entry to read as follows:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSCONTACTS
1= MSPOUTLOOK contacts

instead of the Finger Friendly its pointing to now. just edit the 1 entry under that reg path. then soft reset after of course to make it stick.
