Internet Sharing Issue Please Help....
OK, here it is, Im out in Yuma, Az and im trying to use my cellular phone to connect to the internet and im thinking i might be having some issues with it. I connect it thru usb and press connect under internet sharing and it normally doesnt connect the first 3 times and 4th or 5th time normally finally connects. I get on the internet and the connection is xtremely slow.. I thought it was due to the signal strength and im getting 3 bars with 1x symbol. My buddy let me hook his blackberry phone to my laptop and i connected to the internet with it and the speed was incredably faster on the same laptop and same area.. went to dsl reports his phone gets a connection between 92-189kbits... tested mine and it got 4-27kbits andi have noticed that after like 5 mins it drops off the internet and i have to re-reconnect to the internet which is very gay....Can someone help me out with this issue.. I went to the alltel store they told me to call tech support. called them and they had me do *228 and told me that was all they could do on there end.
