How do i activate my phone? I have the mls and ## does seem to work?
 
hello,

I have the msl number and i know you hit ##mls number # then hit edit and enter your telephone number.

Then i hit ##778# and went to advance and change the MSID numbe rin there to my telephone number .

but still when i try to make a call it says my account cannot be validated.

anyone know what i am doing wrong, i dont want to call sprint or i will be on hold for about 3 days .

You enter your phone number and msid on the same screen.

Also, your number and msid aren't always the same. You will probably need to call Sprint and get your actual information, or go to a store.

do you know of any programs to get your msid number chappy?

Even if you put the info into the phone, you still need to talk to a rep from sprint...the phone has to be programmed into the system to be validated.....

There are none, it's something that's related to your account, not your phone.

you can also do it online....at sprint.com. I had to talk to a rep online cause i didnt set up an account. Took about 5 minutes and there isnt a charge to activate a new phone!
