Internet Sharing application Wont Connect.. help please.
 

hi,

i been using internet sharing application to tether with my pc, it worked fine for the past months. I did all the reg edits and steps posted in this forums.

yesterday when i plugged my phone and started the internet sharing application it wouldnt connect.. saying check usb cable connection!!

I did a reset on the phone and restarted the desktop but same problem ocurred. Yesterday i installed a gps application gps today and morphgear for gaming. dunno if this is related any pointers and help will be appreciated

the application wont say connect message after or before connecting the usb to the computer

please help

Usually when i get that message activesnyc is trying to start, try to disable it and you should be fine.

What I do is run the Internet sharing program first - click on Connect.

And then I plug in the USB cable to the computer.

i have disable active sync but still getting the message check usb cable connection...

i am currently using pda net to tether but is just not the same :(

what reg edits are you taking about ? ICS does not require any edits to work ???

yea , i deleted long ago the ddll file with the reg edit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Comm./InternetSharing

then deleted "extension="rilphone.dll"'

and faster web browsing by

HKLM/COMM/TCPIP/PARMS and changed the TimerWheelsize to Value 5 of 11

nothing that will affect the application directly only to improve speed and avoid sprint to notice the tethering.. have been using them for a while.

it jus wont connect... is it suppose to say connected even if its not plugged in to the computer via usb?
