Cant open rar files
 

I used to click on a link for a rar file and it would download. Now when I click, it open up with gibberish texts. How do I fix it?

install winrar on your pc, or pocketrar on your ppc maybe?

I have pocketrar installed...this just started today where the files would not download. I probably will uninstall it and reinstall when i get home.

hm, interesting. almost sounds like some other program got associated with rar files like notepad or something.

On the initial run of PocketRAR it will ask you if you want it associated with rar and zip files. Enable rar (and zip if you want).

If you didn't associated it on the first run of the program, just open PocketRAR, click tools, settings, integration (tab). You can enable the associations there.
