Annoying sound from my Mogul
 

Lately I have been having the issue where when my call a contact or dialing a number with the dialpad the phone makes a beep both on the speakerphone and on my bluetooth headset. I have searched in sounds and notifications but can't find where I can possible turn this stupid sound off? It just recently started doing this, so I don't know if I accidently changed something or what?

I have noticed the same sound and don't know what changed to cause it. I'd like to turn this annoying sound off as well.

Same here. I've tried everything. I did turn off the beep when ending the call by killing the touch pad sounds. I don't miss them anyway since there is always a delay from the time I touch a number and the beep. But, this did not stop the beep when placing a call.

OMG i have experienced something very similiar..
sometimes, at VERY in-opportune moments, this loud ringing noise will emit from my xv6800..
i'm forced to press the phone key to answer it, and i find my wife on the other end.
VERY ANNOYING i agree !!! looking for some help here.. maybe a new ROM ?

This has happened to me twice. Im going to be honest its not good from what I know. One day I made a call and when I hit send it made a beep I have never herd before. I was like "this sucks why is it doing that?". Well I never figured it out and the sound stayed but weird things started to go wrong with my phone within a week or so. Lockups,running way slow. It sucks but the only way I found was a hard reset to fix it and how it started was/is still a mystery. Then all was fine again for a month or so then I was making a call and beep. Oh no here we go again and just not to long ago I had to hard reset because of it.
There is a old post with some reg edits they said fixed it but I'm not believing it.

SOLVED !!

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\InC all
change the InitVol from 2 to 0

Anyway, there's also another topic on this issue on the first page, no need for 2, so I'm closing this one. Not sure why this sounds starts in the middle of nowhere, but at least a solution was found
