Bluetooth quality w/o going to new rom

I have the DCD custom Rom that enabled GPS and REV-A. I noticed the official new ROM says that it improves BT quality. I also read that alot of people have had good luck with the BT issues after the new ROM. I don't want to go to the new ROM, but I do want the BT benefits. Is there anything to do without going to a new ROM to make BT not crackling and sounding like an old cordless phone?

Re: Bluetooth quality w/o going to new rom

I believe that the new roms from dcd that used the leaked rom from sprint already addressed the bluetooth issue,,

Please correct me if im wrong guys............

but I found a bluetooth headset that works great..

its a Jabra bt-8040,, has the in ear setup with no around the ear crap.. and it is a2dp compliant,,
I love it...
