Gettin a Mogul...
 
aight... i already had a mogul, but for those who knows me, i got jacked by some busta... but that's beside the point...

i ordered ma replacement thursday night, so it should be comin in today, and i have to drive to my house to pick it up...

i haven't ordered a replacement phone in a while, so i jus wanted to know...

1. i've been hearing that if your phone is lost or stolen and you file a replacement request, you will get BRAND NEW phone, with all the accessories, like when you first bought the phone. is that true?

b. will it come with the updated 3.35 rom

iiic. i've heard of some people getting touches... will i get a touch...

you USUALLY get a new phone on insurance claims, BUT the insurance company can send you a refurb, the point of insurance is to "indemnify", which is putting u in the same state(for lack of better terms) that u were before the loss.

You may or may not get one with the new rom. I think they are shipping with 3.35, if not it takes 10 minutes to boot new one.

Moguls are in stock now, so you should get a mogul, and not a touch, they were shipping touches because they were out of stock on moguls

they sent me a brand new Touch for replacement great phone just wasnt for me, they sent me a Brand new Mogul with all accesories in a box and couldn't be happier been playing with it for days and just love it. Touch getting sent back today(and there letting me keep all the accessory which i can use on my mogul, they only want the phone back and battery):).

and yes it should come updated......

Not that it answers your question, but I got a new mogul from a new shipment last week at the sprint store, and it did NOT come preloaded with the new rom.. still had 2.17.

i guess it varies??? mine came from Sprint returns(?) through Assurion.

came with 3.35 rom and love the GPS!!!;)

and when you ordered it, did you go thru the machine and put ya credit card number in thru ya keypad... or did you talk to an actual representative and he/she took all yo info...

yes i do!!!chargers and all ....called them up this morning and asked just to make sure and they only want phone and batt ( i should have kept the other stylus on the phone!!!lol) i dont wanna get charged for it, and the HTC touch Black box looks cool, the Touch pouch fits perfect with my Razr2!!! hahahah

i suggest talking to representative to make sure u get the 6800 eventhough they can send u the touch (6900)
