yeah, i got it working using the cab for the Tilt. use the link i posted with the CTIA promo offer. got it going with no credit card, and it's a 30 day trial!
it's crashed a couple times, but it's real lightweight, and it fires up real quick. using the astrogpslauncher as the start shortcut makes this a total breeze.
it also preloads the entire route in case you lose connectivity. i was using it while on the phone.
i still much prefer the moving map and traffic info of ms live search, but that's a bit of a pig.
but, yeah, this isn't the official mogul cab, but it doesn't seem to notice the difference. as long as the gps is running, it pops right off. guess the tilt must be very similar

Phreddo, download the mogul version I posted...you don't have to use a launcher...

Harpua...register again with a different email and just choose the Mogul, go through the registration to get your code by email. Then download the version I posted from Bosjoe, install that and use the registration code you got from step 1. Done deal.

thank you everybody for the thread. I did it and it works like a charm... only I downloaded from the link they sent me (http://mapquestdtc.telmap.com/ota) and the cab there also fired up my GPS so I'm thinking maybe they already uploaded the new file on their site.

I checked regular website and it says you get 7 days free trial with a normal subscription so you can really get 37 days free trial... unless they block it somehow but I doubt. It does look like you need to put your credit card for the 7 days free trial :bs: Is it the same application? Did anyone try this before?

If you are having to 'fire up' your GPS using some kind of launcher, you don't have the 'newest' Mogul file...it does not require you to use any launcher...it just works when you load Mapquest...

can anyone confirm that the 30 day trial activation will work on a new install?
i would think it would, but i'm a little leery of uninstalling/reinstalling and risk losing the balance of my trial

so far this is working pretty good, even with the tilt rom

Well anyone get a free 30 day trial working/ now its only 7 days but you have to give your card info and stuff.

hands down the best navigation app I have used so far for the mogul. everything works as it should with the builtin gps and no launcher needed. I live and work in an area with so many new streets and had problems on this issue with other apps but not this one. ill pay the monthly on this after the 30days, also traffic works great!
