Slide2Unlock PRO v1.05 cant change wallpaper please help..
 

I downloaded the latest version of slide2unlock, and installed it on my HTC Mogul.

1) I connected my phone to my PC using USB cable
2) I browsed my mobile phone through My Computer
3) I went to Program Files --> Slide2Unlock --> Gfx
4) I copied over a custom 240x320 animated gif named Wallpaper.gif
5) I did a soft reset on phone
6) The old default animated Wallpaper.gif still showed up
7) I used file explorer on my phone, and checked to make sure that the new Wallpaper.gif was there. It was the new one!
8) I deleted the Wallpaper.gif all together, and the old default Wallpaper.gif still appears?! How is that possible? Is it pulling it from somewhere else? Cache? Do I need to change registry setting?

Once you have copied your custom gif to the Gfx folder of you slide2unlock program run slide2unlock. Next go to slide to setup, wallpaper tab and click on the ... and select your gif. THEN MAKE SURE you go menu save (bottom right hand corner), this is critical. Hit ok and you should be good to go.

Thanks for the response! I am not sure how to get to the setup screen?

When I run slide2unlock from programs it simply brings up the old wallpaper, and all it has is the arrow with slide to unlock?

How do I access the setup screen?

i think you may be running the 'old' version of SlidetoUnlock.
development has been stopped on that, and you should use S2U2. (slidetounlock2)..
it has a custom 'setup screen' that arranges all your options, instead of manual registry edits like the original one.
do yourself a favor and install the new version.
i ran with the old one for a while and was very frustrated with some of the bugs.. since i found S2U2, no problems whatsoever. it's great..

Thanks for the help guys!

I installed S2U2 v0.99, and that seemed to do the trick! The settings menu is fricking slick, and the wallpaper changed without any problems. Thanks again for the help!
