A hard reset fixed a suspected hardware malfunction????

So I dropped my phone while on vacation and after that, all of the case buttons stopped working, aside from the power button and the jog-wheel. Then a couple hours later, they would sporadically work. I did a hard-reset when I came home and updated to the new official ROM and now they work. I just thought I'd share this cuz I thought it was kinda weird since I thought this was an obvious hardware malfunction and doing a hard-reset, it corrected what seemed to be a software malfunction.

Well considering that ive been in the computer/networking industry for 16 years... I can say this doesnt even sound a bit wierd not even the slightest wierd,,,

You can never make predictions with computer hardware,,, especially when it runs windows.. lol

but it is good to hear that it is working fine...
