hey All... long time lurker again... need some advice here.. Took my lovely sprint 6800 in for repair(under insurance warranty bla bla) because the usb port got busted up. Finally nearly 2 weeks later they called me and said my replacement phone was in.. well I went in tonight and they are like you are gonna love us or hate us.... here's your replacement phone.. its a TOUCH!!

ahhh i hate this thing already.. wheres my keyboard!! i'm a power email user with my mogul and 6700 before it..

any one got any ideas of what i can do? i don't see how touch is a comparable phone to mogul

no keyboard
no evdo rev A
no a-gps
less memory right?

Aghhh!!!

Simple, its not going to be a fight over pins and needles, they won't hassle you.


Just call them back & let them know.
They will not hassle you but do it ASAP. Tomorrow...

Its probably a stock shortage again but again, let them know when & if they do have it back in stock, you want the Mogul, not the Touch you were given.

No Keyboard, No Rev. A (yet), No GPS (yet), but never fear... Touch has 128MB of RAM, so it has more memory. :)

if you got it from the store i would take it back to the store and tell them that the touch is not equal to or greater than in usability as the insurance contract states. and demand a mogul. they should comply...

If you got it as a service and repair replacement - which it sounds like you did, you can take it back there. If you try to make an insurance claim, they're just gonna send you another touch. just tell the service center you tried it and can't do it. they'll try to do something for you if they can
