Outlook duping my contacts
 

Almost every contact in my phone has been duped 2 or 3 times by outlook. I don't understand why this is happening, or how to prevent it. Any ideas?

Also, is there an easier way to get rid of the dupes without going through one-by-one and deleting them?

Are you backing up or syncing your contacts? It sounds like an issue with your Activesync pulling in dups from outlook or something...

If you list a little additional info, I can get a better idea of what's going on.

Yeah, I back them up on my PC. Thats what I meant about outlook..... I meant to include activesync in that accusation...lol

I kinda had a similar issue. When I hard reset and go to reload the contacts from Sync all the sprint default contacts are duplicated. Once I delete them I'm good though.

There is a small application called dedupe .. Cant upload it - me in office - all upload sites are blocked. If someone can do me the upload part I can email the file across. oR just google it is a freeware - got it in some forum :)
