TomTom loading on startup

Ok, installed the new rom. About 2 days later Tomtom starts loading on startup all by itself. ie I turn on the phone and as soon as the today screen loads TomTom starts up. I did install the TomTom Launcher, but it is not that version that is loading.

Any ideas out there?

My best guess is that is being autorun from your Sd card but because is already install it runs the app instead of reinstalling.... check your storage card for any files that autorun the tomtom

Rename the 2577 folder on the SD card. That is the autorun folder.

Ok, renamed it...and that took care of the problem. So, any clue why this started happening?

any issues that will now be caused by my re-naming the folder? trying to understand.
