playing music and gps together??????

Hi, all . do you guys know any combination of gps application and music players that work together. What i mean is when the gps anounces something, the music temporarly stops and when done the music resumes automatically, just like how pocket music player does to incoming calls. I alreday tried that youtube video player TCPMP and pocket music player, but both keeps the music playing while my iGO 2006 plus is announcing something. I did try to go to go through the settings of all three programs mentioned above but couldn't find anything helpful (or maybe i overlooked something :angry7: ).

http://www.theunwired.net/?itemid=3294 from reading this review of igo i concur that it is possible using TCPMP, atleast on his T-mobile MDA . he says " I tend to like TomTom's minimal voice prompts on freeways, giving me more time to listen to uninterrupted music " . But i don't know how to.

My TomTom never shuts up, maybe becuse i'm in L.A? Lol.
but wouldn't playing music and having your gps software running at the same time drain your battery?

I do it all the time. Usually iGuidance and HTC audiomanager simultaneously. No troubles even over bluetooth. You will need to plug it in if you're running for very long.

yeah, i was planning to plug it into the car charger. So i guidance is the only software that does this? i heard iguidance route calculation algorithm is pretty bad. so i didn't want to buy it. I was hoping tom - tom will do this. So how do you guys hear music while using gps. i fear i will miss a turn. does anyone know of anyother gps & music player that do this?
