Mogul cosmetic imperfections - Will Sprint repair/replace?
 

My Mogul has several nicks and scratches in the corners of its casing, and the screen has a nice 'thumbprint' type mark on it. I don't think the screen issue is related to the 'white spots' issue, as there is no discernible loss of brightness, but it's something.

Since I have TEP, will Sprint replace the casing & screen, or swap my Mogul for another one?

I'd like to find a nice case, have it shipped, replace/repair the Mogul, and from then on have it live in the case, if possible.

no I don't think so unless its software issue they will tell you to call ausrion. I would go there and say you have problem with something software related like syncing or something and don't even mention that its scratched and need a new one.

Do you have an insurance? If I was you I would go to the sprint repair center near you and ask them, only they can tell you. Make it seem worst then what it is, they should do it. I have a nick to, i glad i get my case today.

Be careful, you will almost definitely get stuck with a refurb phone.

nothing wrong with a refurb phone, just make sure it works

Mine was getting kinda scratched up too. Then one day I dropped it and the voicedial button got jammed in. I took it to a local sprint store and they tried to fix it for 20 minutes and then gave me another phone, it looked brand new to me - sticker on screen and it was clean. That was last week, and it still works so far. Just make sure you get a reciept.

alot of refurished phones are phones ppl may have brought for a day or to and they didnt like the phonee.

Cosmetic damage is not covered under S&R. If you are lucky enough to find a depot that will change out your case for you it will run $55

the white spots on the bottom left of my screen got me a replacement due in next week

I just got my mogul swapped for a brand new one a few days ago.

They will swap in store for more than just software issues. I had several software problems, but also, my screen wasn't sliding back into the normal position, it was going past it about 1/8th of an inch. It actually stuck out the other side. My front buttons were starting to not work anymore, especially the green phone button and I believed this was the cause of it. I told the lead tech at the store as much, he agreed, and when they didn't have a new "front housing with slide" he just gave me a brand new one.

Thats what they are supposed to do. Don't let them tell you otherwise.......

They might. I just took my mogul to a sprint repair center, that i had dropped and the power button had come off. They just gave me a brand new one after about an hour long wiat.
